Artsy Crafty Kids

This class offers age-appropriate arts to get the creative juices flowing in the children. The class size is small, so each student receives special attention, and uses Common Core Standards as inspiraton for the classes. The art created in this class is always different, and the mediums used are switched up.

Miss Phyllis, the art teacher of the class, focuses on making the learning experience fun for the younger children while they learn. 

Some of the projects that the children may work on include molding/sculpting clay, watercolor painting, creating collages, crafting with beads and drawing with pencils, markers or other pens.

According to Artist Miss Phyllis, "Art is an important part of a child's early education. Art can give the child a relaxing outlet to constructively express themselves, focusing their energies on creating something and feeling proud of themselves."
